A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

This sound was recorded at the campus of poblenou of the pompeu fabra university, in the area of tallers in the corridor a-b. It was recorded between 14:00-14:20 with a zoom h2 recorder. The sound consist in percussive and low-mid frequency sound produced by the whole pencil case falling and impacting into the floor.

5. 1 surround close range field recording of the beach at étretat, a seaside resort in the normandy region of france. The recorder is about 2m away from the surf, the sea is very choppy with heavy waves washing over the pebbles on the beach. Recorded with a zoom h2n and matrixed to 5. 1 surround.

A recording made in july around 7:00 at night near a huge man-made lake. The ever-present insects are there, but overshadowed by the peepers. 13 seconds in a dog barks off in the distance and the echo is just incredible. 24 seconds into the recording is the classic call of the red-wing blackbird. Made with samson c0-2 stereo microphones feeding a zoom h4n recorder.

Inside an empty carriage e of grand central train service from kings cross to mirfield. Some pips and distortion areas removed using adobe sound booth. Recorded on a zoom i6 with an iphone 5.

Several hits on a wok pan lid produced these low pitched metallic rings that were interesting to me. I used a soft foam insulation piece to hit the lid and recorded it with a zoom h5.

A pack of lightly salted lays chips was used. The chips were chewed on very hard and made a satisfying crunchy sound inside the mouth. The sound was recorded with a zoom h6, using the xy capsule, in a normal room in a house.

This is an edited field recording that i used in a track of mine. I recorded it at the zoom natural park, near torino, italy. It's actually 4 tracks of waterfalls and birds signing, with a little delay on the birds. It's made to loop around itself unnoticeably. If someone is interested, i'm willing to release the whole field recording. It's 7 tracks, but very little of it is devoid of external noise. The recorder is situated directly on the shoreline, facing seaward, so the waves lapping onto the rocky shore can be heard directly in the foreground, further in the background, crickets can be heard, and further behind that, the occasional voice of a bather or the sound of a passing boat. Stereo recording of a group of street musicians playing circus style music in paradise circus, birmingham uk. Recorded on a zoom h2 digital recorder in wav format walking past the musicians. A long metal spring was glued onto a cardboard tube, and when whirled, it makes a very strange but interesting sound. A zoom h6 recorder was used with the shotgun/pistol mic.
